A locally owned dumpster rental and junk removal company serving Spring Hill and west Pasco County, Florida.

SHL Dumpster Rental Spring Hill is a locally owned, west Pasco County dumpster rental and junk removal company built around a simple promise: quote a fair, flat price up front, show up on time, and handle debris the right way from the first can down to the drop-off. The company was founded by Steven Hall, who started SHL — his own initials — with a single truck after growing tired of watching homeowners and contractors get jerked around by rental companies that buried fees in the fine print or never called back.
Today SHL runs five container sizes and a dozen service lines out of its yard on Shady Hills Road, covering nine communities across west Pasco County from Spring Hill and Shady Hills down through the US-19 corridor to Trinity and Odessa. The crew is small enough that the person who answers the phone usually knows exactly which truck is headed your way.
By the numbers
Figures are indicative of our current operation.
Steven Hall built SHL Dumpster Rental Spring Hill after one too many run-ins with rental outfits that were slow to answer the phone, vague about pricing, or simply didn't show up when they said they would. He set out to run the company he wished existed for west Pasco County homeowners and contractors — honest about what a job will cost, responsive when someone actually needs a container this week, and fairly priced without a stack of surprise fees at pickup. SHL started with a single truck, and the standard hasn't changed since: say what you'll do, then do it.
SHL's yard sits at 16924 Shady Hills Rd, in the ZIP 34610 slice of Spring Hill — and that address is actually in Pasco County, not Hernando County. It's an easy mix-up: the much larger, better-known Spring Hill community (ZIPs 34606–34609) sits just north in Hernando County, and the two share a name without sharing a county line. The Postal Service's own alternate mailing names for ZIP 34610 are "Shady Hills" and "Quail Ridge" — Quail Ridge being the very street the yard is on. In practice that means SHL's home base, and the bulk of its day-to-day routes, are firmly in Pasco County: Spring Hill, Shady Hills, the US-19 corridor towns, and the Suncoast Parkway growth belt out toward Trinity and Odessa.
SHL delivers to nine west Pasco County communities: Spring Hill and Shady Hills near the yard, the US-19 corridor towns of Port Richey, New Port Richey, Elfers and Holiday, Bayonet Point near Hudson, and the fast-growing Suncoast Parkway corridor communities of Trinity and Odessa. That's the footprint SHL knows block by block — the routes, the driveway widths, which streets can take a loaded 30-yard container without a fight. Areas further north into Hernando County or out toward the Nature Coast, like Brooksville or Weeki Wachee, fall outside that footprint and are generally handled by a different local company, so call ahead if you're not sure which side of that line your address falls on.
Every SHL quote is a flat rate that covers delivery, pickup and disposal — no per-ton surcharge tacked on after the fact. Most jobs land somewhere between $350 and $750 depending on the container size, what's going in it, where it's being delivered and how long you need to keep it, but the only way to get a real number for your project is to call (352) 667-6532 and describe the job. Standard rental runs about seven days, and extending it is a phone call, not a fight.
Steven still oversees the operation day to day, backed by a small office and dispatch team that answers the phone, a driver crew that runs the routes, and a compliance side that keeps disposal documentation straight for contractors who need it. It's a lean setup by design — fewer hand-offs between the person you talk to and the person delivering your container.
What we stand on
One flat number that covers delivery, pickup and disposal, quoted before the truck ever leaves the yard, not adjusted afterward.
Calls get answered and containers get scheduled without a week of back-and-forth, because slow service was the exact problem SHL was built to fix.
Nine west Pasco County communities, memorized route by route, so we know which streets need a smaller container and which driveways can handle a 30-yard roll-off.
If SHL knows a local rule for certain, it says so plainly. If it doesn't, it says that too and points the customer to the right office to confirm.
The price quoted on the phone is the price on the invoice, with no tonnage shock and no fuel surcharge sprung on pickup day.
SHL started with one truck and grew by keeping the promises that got the first customers to call back a second time.
Faces from the yard
Dispatch, drivers and the yard crew who actually run your job — the same faces whether you call on a Tuesday or a Saturday.

SHL Dumpster Rental Spring Hill was founded by Steven Hall, and the company's initials are literally his own. He started the business with a single truck after seeing too many west Pasco County homeowners and contractors dealt with by rental companies that were slow, vague on pricing, or hard to reach, and built SHL to be the opposite of that.
Pasco County. The yard's address, 16924 Shady Hills Rd, carries a Spring Hill, FL 34610 mailing address, and that ZIP code sits in Pasco County, not the larger Hernando County community that also goes by Spring Hill a few miles north. The Postal Service's own alternate names for ZIP 34610 are Shady Hills and Quail Ridge, which is the street the yard sits on.
Spring Hill, Shady Hills, Port Richey, New Port Richey, Trinity, Holiday, Elfers, Bayonet Point and Odessa, nine communities across west Pasco County. Call (352) 667-6532 if your address is near that line and you're not sure it's covered.
Often, yes, depending on the size you need and what's already scheduled that day. Call (352) 667-6532 as early as possible and the office will tell you right away whether a same-day slot is open.
Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Call (352) 667-6532 or email info@shldumpsterrental.com any time and the office will follow up during those hours.
Service area
We run roll-off containers out of our 16924 Shady Hills Rd yard to all nine communities we cover across West Pasco — Spring Hill and Shady Hills close to the yard, and Port Richey, New Port Richey, Trinity, Holiday, Elfers, Bayonet Point and Odessa across the rest of west Pasco County. Spring Hill and the closest towns are usually same-day; the farther edges of the service area are next-day. If your town is not listed, call anyway. We likely still get there.
